NEW! GAS HOLDER & FRAME COUPLINGS 2009, June
Gas holder for the Nirvana paramotor
The gas holder is used for strapping the
gas handle on all Nirvana paramotors.
Way of use: Manipulation with the
paramotor on the ground; during a
flight, for example in combination with
gas aeration for stabilizing into a
horizontal flying position; storing the
gas handle during manipulation with
equipment; descending with the motor
turned off or when thermal circling with
the engine turned off. Installation: Fasten the gas
holder on to the left belt leading
towards the snap hook at the level above
the chest strap. The angle of the strap
allows for comfortable placing or
holding the gas handle during
manipulation both on the ground and
during flight.
Frame couplings for the Nirvana paramotor
The frame couplings reinforce the protection
frame.
Way of use: Permanent replacement for
the side strapping velcro belts. The pilot
can make several small mistakes at the
beginning when learning to fly with a
paramotor which can cause excessive
fastening of the protective frame by the
canopy cords. The frame couplings help to
reinforce the frame in such situations. Installation: The frame couplings are
fixed on the bottom right and the left
quarter of the protective frame. You can
transport them with the frame once it is
fixed on. When completing the fixing of the
couplings on to the paramotor frame, always
clip the upper and bottom fourth part
together on the left and right side. When
dismantling the frame, first take the
couplings off followed by the remaining
velcro frame belts.
NIRVANA AT GERMAN PARAMOTOR MEETING DMP
2009
2009, May 28, Ballenstedt, Germany
Nirvana visited
German Paramotor
meeting in Ballenstedt
with great success. The first doubtful
looks was changed by unbelievable flying
art presented by Pavel Brezina, who
changed it all to very friedly
atmosphere full of exciting technical
discussion about all Nirvana production
range or paramotors and trikes, which
all set an exaple of all attendees. The
New Instinct was firstly introduced to
German flying public too.
With introducing our product range
helped us very much the owner of
PARASPORT
company, Mr. George Nevrela, who has
longtime professional experience with
our paramotors.
Thank you for great welcome,
Ballenstedt.
THANK YOU AGAMA!009,
May 28
Hi Nirvana!
After having an amazing flight over the
incredible
islands of San
Blas,
Rep. of Panama I had a water crash and
the Agama saved me!
Thank you, and we'll be reporting this
incident throughout America :-)
Remy
Mark's comment:
I will not fly near or over water again
without an
Agama. I
was standing right there as it deployed,
and it saved Remy. In the case of more
altitude, you have more time to think
about what is going to happen when
making contact with the water, but in
Remy's case the last few frames of my
video of the incident clearly show
Remy's face completely submerged in the
water... from the wing surging ahead and
pulling him forward. Without the Agama,
things could have turned out much
different. Even a PFD would have to have
been self-deployed which may or may not
have been possible in his case.
It took about 3 minutes of continuous
effort on Remy's part to get himself
untangled from his lines... even after
removing his shoes. He was clearly not
in any danger in that incident of
problems, but it is clear to me now that
the lines are a real problem in a water
impact.
Did you guys see this month's Ultra
Flight magazine? It has the Jeff Goin
article on "safety equipment" including
a reserve chute AND and picture of him
jumping into a swimming pool with an
Agama.
His floating position was exactly as
Remy was in the water. I am convinced!
We should ALL fly with an Agama!
GREAT LOSS TO OUR SPORT
THE SAD PASSING OF BILL CROSBY RIP. 2009, May 17
On 17th.May 2009 we sadly lost one of our
Nirvana family members,
Bill Crosby of Paradrenalin.
Bill had
lots of dreams and VERY enthusiastic plans for
the future of the sport and NIRVANA in the USA.
He will be greatly missed by many inside and
outside the sport.
We would like to express our sincere sympathy and
condolences to Bills family and many friends for
their great loss and sadness at this time .

ABOVE &
BEYOND CANADA 2009
May 15 – August 30
NIRVANA PARAMOTORS bring more children to
youth camps.
Having recently completed an incredible 2000
km flight across British Columbia,
Benjamin Jordan will inspire millions of
Canadians this summer, setting the World
Powered-Paragliding Distance Record by
flying 10,000 km across Canada.
What's going on? From west to east, Jordan will land at youth
camps leaving children with unforgettable
presentations on flight and encouraging them
to realize their own dreams. Each visit is
to conclude with the children assembling
into large formations, which will be
captured in stunning aerial photographs as
Jordan flies off.
Photographs from the journey will be
presented in a beautiful documentary on-line
and in a book format, to be released in time
for the 2009 holiday season. Proceeds from
book sales will be donated to Canadian camps
for underprivileged children for the
following summer. Why are you doing this? We are totally inspired by positive effects that
a camping experience can have on young boys
and girls. Summer camp not only provides
young people with an exciting opportunity to
learn activities and skills, but also
enables them to develop character, social
and leadership abilities and an appreciation
for their natural environment.
Economical circumstance prevent almost half
of Canada's youth from accessing these
wonderful programs. We are doing everything
we can this year to help get these kids to
camp and invite you to do the same.

The Japanese PPG Championship took place in a
magnificent area near to lake Izu on 10th-13th

earthquake in the not too distant past. We were
extremely impressed by the welcome and
great hospitality shown to all pilots from the
local pilots and especially from the local
people in the area.
Many thanks and congratulations to the winner Mr.
Kenichi Shimazu who performed really well and
became the new Japanese Champion for 2008. Also

Another
winning team with NIRVANA!
NEW
NIRVANA PARAMOTOR EASY
2008,
October
Our
flying allows us to watch the world from the air
with a birds eye view. We enjoy the emotions in
flight that we are so lucky to share with the
birds. The
Paramotor EASY
brings you an amazing experience in flight,
because it has a clutch it allows the prop to
remain still and it is much quieter because it
is water cooled. In other words this combination
allows you to paramotor but also offers a flight
experience akin to free flying on tick over as
there is no prop noise and the unit is very
quiet. The easy promises to soon become another
astounding success for Nirvana.

winning team now!
Update from your NIRVANA TEAM AT COUPE ICARE
2008
2008, September 18–21
Dear
Friends in the sky,
We took part at 35th Coupe Icare show in St.
Hilaire du Touvet in France last week. Even
thought flying conditions were the best and our
knowledge of the terrain from previous visits
was excellent, we only had a few flights :-(
More than flying we exhibited and showed all
that Nirvana can think out and can create.
It was a
really great experience for us and we believe
that those who visited us at our stand could see
that we stood out amongst our international
competitors. Interest from pilots, the
general public and producers of paramotors
was so demanding that we always finished at the
stand late at night and didn’t get to enjoy the
program at the various sites. Our stand was
constantly filled with interested people
getting the feel of our paramotors and with lots
of questions about our assortment.
We would
like to thank all of you who visited us in
France and those who supported us prior to the
exhibition.
Your
Nirvana Team
Happy flying and don’t forget to look here at
the
slideshow

St. Hilaire

2008, August 25–29
And now a little about our current and new
products which we presented to
Due
to large demand from our customers, we have
again started to manufacture our mid grade
well accepted paramotor
ELECTRIC
with
its reliable SOLO engine.
Our
bestseller and most demanded paramotor is
still the
RODEO
with
its SIMONINI engine, fitted with NIRVANA
peripheries.
We
are further offering the light type
paramotor
COLIBRI
with its RAKET 120 engine.
Something new from NIRVANA is the luxurious
INSTINCT
with its SIMONINI 200 NIRVANA engine, ready
for sale in 2009.
Paramotor
EASY
with its SKY 100 engine will be for sale in
the Autumn of 2008. Technical parameters and
promotional brochures will be available
after the trade fair St.Hilaire at the end
of September.
With
a view into the future, we presented the
prototype of our new 4 stroke engine
NIRVANA NCV 180, which is built into our
luxury design INSTINCT model.
For
those of you that give preference to
smoother take offs and landings, we
presented our new
CRUISE CARBON TRIKE.
Another presented novelty was the helmet
FULL CONTACT 3
– the first intelligent helmet with a
microprocessor designed specially for PPG.
Apart from a perfect microphone, it also has
an amplifier for listening to music.
Of
course, the weather we ordered was perfect,
so we spent lots of time in the sky, both
mornings and evenings. Each participant of
the meeting had an opportunity to try out
all, both old and new models of paramotors
NIRVANA, also to get to know new types of
propellers, use the
accessories and equipment, and flew the
DESIRE
and the new
KOMAKA.
We also had a practical demonstration of our
Water Rescue System
which, according to our USA and
Malaysian dealers has been used in at least
7 cases of water landings where its use
saved lives. I recommend you to read the
article at
www.usppamembers.org.
The end of the meeting was spent in a Moravian
wine cellar where we did some wine tasting
of regional wine and took time to watch
photos from our flights.
The week was a great success so I would like
to take this opportunity to thank all
participants and their suggestions, which we
highly appreciate.
For those of you who were unable to make it
this time, and would like to see our
novelties personally, please come and see us
next week, September 18–21, 2008, at St.
Hilarie in France at the
Trade Show COUPE ICARE
(Icarus
Cup). We look forward to showing you our
products.
How
about this for simplicity and class? the Nirvana trike is so portable.
