Model Aeroplanes

Model aeroplane constructing and flying is a very rewarding hobby. You can when you get really good at this sport compete in competition worldwide. On this page Carron Model Aeroplane Club Tipperary is featured. This club is very active and has some first class instructors two of which I know personally and they are Gordon James and of Course Gordon got the spark from his Dad Keith James who is an absolute well of knowledge and it is not just confined to this sport but all types of aviation.

You will travel far to meet instructors of this calibre and a nicer bunch that are so helpful. The atmosphere on club days here is electric and great craic with the bar B Q thrown in for good measure. There has been many World Comps held at this venue from time to time.
